Janet Graham (President)

Janet entered into the commercial lines shortly after getting into the business in 1993. With a strong commercial knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with the insurance companies, Janet is able to negotiate strong terms and affordable coverage.  Janet is responsible for overall management of the Company and day-to-day operations.

One of Janet’s strong beliefs is that owner’s principals must be hands on in day-to-day operations and activities. This keeps strong checks and balances within the organization.

Terry Graham (Account Executive/Consultant)

Terry entered the business in 1979 as a commercial salesperson for a large independent brokerage firm. After 1 year he was offered an interest (partnership) in this company and worked within this organization for many years. In the early 90's Terry started his own independent brokerage, which was very successful until going public in 1997.  As President & CEO until 2002, the company was very successful and profitable. In 2002 the company was taken over by ING bank and subsequently led to Terry's departure and joining SIS Insurance Group Ltd. in January of 2004.

Terry’s responsibilities are the creating and implementing of commercial programs, servicing of commercial accounts and mergers and acquisitions. Like Janet, Terry believes that all senior people within an organization should remain active and in a hands-on capacity.

Terry is an active accomplished pilot and is the underwriter for the aviation program as well.

Cedric Miller (Account Executive)

Cedric has been in the business for over 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge in regards to marine Insurance business. With a strong Lloyd's of London affiliation Cedric has the ability to write the very unique and hard to place marine accounts. Cedric has been successful in the underwriting of charter vessels in the Caribbean and all over the world.

Stacey MacIntosh (Account Manager)

Stacey has worked with Janet and Terry Graham since 1995.  She brings a consistency of excellent client service and integrity to the Company that any employer would envy. Stacey handles personal lines accounts and support to Aviation and Marine business.

Steve Barber (Account Executive, Program Manager)

Steve holds the role of Account Executive and Program Manager. Among his roles he will develop Commercial "Program" Business and Develop key strategic commercial initiatives. Steve is well known in the business community as he was formerly employed by Cobble Beach Golf Links as one of the working Club Pros. As well as being an outstanding golfer, Steve brings to our table a complete understanding of client service and business acumen. He has a solid understanding of business and the servicing that business' require.

Steve is married to his wife Andrea and they were happy to welcome their first child, a son, in February of 2010.  SIS Group is pleased to have Steve aboard and looks forward to many years and future success.

Rob Gardner (Account Executive, Farm and Fruit Growers Insurance Specialist)

SIS Group is happy to introduce Rob Gardner as our Farm and Fruit Growers Insurace Specialist.  Rob came to SIS Group after owning a large apple farm business.  He is a University of Guelph (Horticulture) graduate and 5th generation Grey County famer, which lends him a wealth of knowledge for our agricultural and industrial based clientelle.  We are confident that his previous experience and enthusiasim for this industry will prove invaluable for our clients.
