Our History
SIS Insurance Group Ltd. was created from scratch in December of 2003. The Company's Principals have worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years and together they have utilized their knowledge, reputation and relationships to create one of Ontario’s first exclusive Commercial Insurance Brokerages. In providing commercial lines products to its clients, a VIP personal lines program (Home, Auto & Farm) was implemented for our exclusive commercial clients. By maintaining focus on our commercial lines clients and not “opening the doors” to the general public we have built a company around service not previously seen in our industry.
Further to our commercial lines programs we have as well built our Company around other products built exclusively for special applications. These programs are:
- Aviation, including personal aircraft, charters, flight schools, airports and hangars
- Marine, including pleasure craft of all sizes, charters, tugs, and commercial usage
- Ministry of Transportation (Snow removal contracts and summer maintenance)
- Specialty automotive shops, including muffler and transmission businesses
- Specially designed restaurant programs for individuals or franchises
- Churches
- Leon's Furniture franchises
The above listed programs have been built over several years have proven the test of time even over the very hard and unstable market witnessed over the last 3 years.
